Billing & plans

Billing is where you manage your Realm subscription — your plan, your seats, your payment method, and your invoices. It's reserved for the Workspace owner; admins who manage the brokerage day to day will see a note pointing them to the owner for billing changes.

Your billing plan is about what you pay Realm — it is not the same as your permissions or your governance setup. Seats and plan names don't decide who can do what; that's handled by your role and capabilities.

Picking a plan

If your Workspace doesn't yet have an active subscription, the Billing page shows a Choose a plan card. Plans follow the product identity:

  • Solo agent — 1 seat, for an independent agent.
  • Team — for a small team working a shared pipeline.
  • Brokerage — for a brokerage with multiple agents and offices.

Pick one and you'll be taken through secure checkout. You can change your plan or seat count any time afterward.

Reading your plan summary

The Current plan card shows your plan name, description, status (Active, Trial, Past due, etc.), and your total monthly bill broken down into the platform license (base) plus seats. You'll see billing summaries written in plain product language, for example:

It also lists what your plan includes — things like unlimited Realms, the native compliance engine, the broker review queue, the Export Center, team collaboration, and custom branding — and your next billing date, last charge, and payment method.

Seats

On per-seat plans, a Seats card lets you set how many seats you're paying for. Realm shows what you're paid for, your active members, and warns you if you have more members than seats (bump it up) or are paying for more than you use. Seat changes prorate against the current billing period, so a mid-cycle change shows up as a one-time adjustment on your next invoice — Realm labels it so the figure isn't confusing.

Trials, cancel & resume

  • During a trial, a banner counts down the days left and shows when your first charge lands.
  • Update payment method at any time from the plan card.
  • Cancel stops the subscription at the end of the current period (you keep access until then); Resume undoes a pending cancellation.

Invoices

The Recent invoices list shows each invoice's date, amount, and status, with a View link to the hosted invoice and PDF.

If Realm can't reach the billing provider for a moment, the page shows your last-known state rather than an error. If you ever hit a real problem, retry — billing reads stay available even when changes are briefly blocked.
