Tips & shortcuts

Small habits that save real time in Realm. None of these are required — they're the things power users reach for once the basics click.

Let EVE do the busywork

  • Finish with EVE. When a Realm is most of the way there, tap Finish with EVE and let EVE prepare the remaining updates, documents, and next actions for you to approve in one pass — instead of clicking through each one.
  • Approve once, everywhere. A prepared action is the same action on every surface. Approve it from the banner, the panel, or chat — the others update instantly. You never have to find and re-approve it.
  • Pick the right autonomy mode. In Suggest, EVE waits for you on everything; in Guided, it handles routine steps; in Autopilot, it runs approved routines on its own. Move up a level once you trust it with a task, and back down whenever you want a closer look. See Autonomy modes.
  • EVE cites its source. If a suggestion looks off, hover or expand it — EVE shows what it's basing the action on. When it isn't sure, it asks instead of guessing.

Move faster in Settings

  • Search instead of hunting. The Settings page has a search box at the top — type "timezone", "MLS", "2FA", or "signature" and it jumps you straight to the right tab.
  • Follow the setup checklist. New brokerage? The "Set up your brokerage" checklist on Brokerage Settings is a guided path; each row opens the exact place to finish it and ticks itself off automatically.

Set it up once, reuse it forever

  • Build a Transaction Template. Instead of assembling documents, tasks, and reminders for every transaction, bundle them into a Transaction Template and apply it to each new Realm.
  • Adopt brokerage templates. Under Connect, toggle on your brokerage's shared templates instead of writing your own from scratch. Adopting one never copies or changes it — you just opt in.
  • Use teams and routing. Route new leads to a whole team (round-robin or by lead bucket) so hand-offs happen automatically.

Sign in faster

  • Add a passkey. Under Settings → Security, add a passkey for password-free sign-in on your device.
  • Continue with Google / Microsoft. If your account supports it, skip the password entirely from the sign-in page.

Time-savers worth knowing

  • Forward documents to your Realm email. Mail sent to your Realm email lands in Connect, tied to the right transaction — no manual uploading.
  • Quiet hours. Set quiet hours under Notifications so you're not pinged overnight; urgent items still surface in the morning.
  • Intake drives the work. Answer the property intake questions honestly and completely — Realm automatically adds the right conditional documents and tasks, so you don't have to remember them.
  • Vault when a Realm closes. Sealing a finished Realm to the Vault gives you a permanent, verifiable record — do it while everything's fresh.
  • Connect your MLS once. Under Settings → MLS, connect your board so Realm searches the market and shows your own listings under **From your MLS feed** — no manual entry. See Connecting your MLS.
  • Build a working list for a buyer. In Properties, add homes to your working list as you search, then share the whole set with your client in one click.
