Compose & review
Two of EVE's most-used helpers work as a pair: Compose drafts the message you need to send, and the human review queue catches anything that needs your judgment before it goes anywhere. Together they let EVE do the writing while keeping you firmly in control of the sensitive stuff.
Compose
Ask EVE to draft a message to a contact — an email or a text — and it writes one grounded in your recent thread with that person. It's not a generic template; it reads what's actually been said and drafts a reply that fits.
- You approve before it sends. Compose produces a draft. Nothing goes out until you say so.
- It uses the same send paths you already trust. When you approve, the message goes through Realm's normal email or text sending — the same plumbing behind Connect. Deep inbox mechanics live there; this is just EVE drafting into it.
- Every draft is logged. EVE keeps an honest, append-only record that a draft was AI-generated, so there's never any question about where a message came from.
The review gate
Here's the safeguard that makes Compose safe: every draft runs through a risk check before it can be sent. If the message touches a topic that should never go out automatically — an offer, pricing, a contract, financing, a complaint, an opt-out request, or a tense exchange — EVE flags it as needing review and routes it to you instead of sending. This is the same gate that governs Autopilot: the routine flows, the sensitive always stops at you.
The human review queue
EVE also watches your incoming messages for those same judgment-call topics. When something needs a human, it lands in your review queue as a "Needs your review" item — the section that sits at the very top of your Daily Briefing. For each item you can:
- Approve — you've read it and it's good to proceed.
- Edit — adjust EVE's draft before it goes.
- Dismiss — it doesn't need action.
- Resolve — mark it handled.
Every one of these comes with EVE's reasoning: how confident it is, the evidence, and why it flagged the item. And every action — yours and EVE's — is written to an append-only log. Nothing EVE does is a black box; you can always see what happened and why.
Why it's built this way
EVE earns trust by being visible. Compose speeds up the writing you'd do anyway, the review gate guarantees the risky things always reach a human, and the log means you can audit any decision after the fact. Speed on the routine, a hard stop on the sensitive.
