EVE mail
EVE can watch your real email inbox — Gmail or Outlook — so the relationships living in your mail are part of everything EVE does. Once you connect an account, the threads with your contacts flow into Realm, and EVE's awareness layer treats them like any other conversation.
Connecting Gmail or Outlook
You connect your inbox once, from your EVE settings. EVE supports both Gmail and Outlook, and connecting uses the provider's normal secure sign-in — you grant access through Google or Microsoft, and Realm never sees your password. Your account credentials are stored encrypted.
You can disconnect at any time from the same place.
What connecting gives you
With an inbox connected, EVE keeps your mail in sync in the background — you don't have to hit a "sync now" button and wait. New messages from your contacts get matched to the right person and folded into your conversation history automatically.
That matters because it feeds the rest of EVE:
- Threads where a contact is waiting on you surface in your Daily Briefing.
- Unanswered threads become draft a follow-up recommendations, so the reply you owe is one step away.

The deep inbox lives in Connect

When it's not set up
If you haven't connected an inbox, EVE simply works with what it has — your texts, calls, and Realm activity. Connecting mail widens what EVE can see; nothing breaks without it, and EVE won't pretend to know about conversations it can't reach.
