Privacy Policy

Last updated: 09/03/2026

Realm ("we", "our", or "us"), operated by Realm, Inc., respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

  • Name and contact information (including phone number and email)
  • Property and transaction-related data
  • Communication data within the platform
  • Device and usage data
  • Social account connection data — when you connect a Facebook Page or Instagram Business account, the access tokens and linked account details needed to publish on your behalf

How We Use Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and operate the Realm platform
  • Facilitate real estate transactions and communication
  • Send notifications related to your account and activity
  • Improve platform functionality and user experience

SMS Communications

Realm (realm.realty), operated by Realm, Inc., may send SMS messages to users who have explicitly opted in through account registration or participation in a real estate transaction within the platform.

By providing your phone number and affirmatively opting in, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages related to your use of the platform.

These messages may include:

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Transaction status updates
  • Document notifications
  • Property-related alerts
  • Communication notifications between transaction participants

Message frequency varies based on user activity. Message and data rates may apply.

Users may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For assistance, reply HELP or contact support at [email protected].

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of using the platform.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All SMS opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

The REALM Mobile App

The REALM app for iOS and Android is a way to use the same account and the same data as the web platform. It does not collect anything the platform does not already hold, and it does not use advertising identifiers or track you across other apps or websites. The app asks for device permissions only when a feature needs them, and each one can be changed at any time in your device settings:

  • Camera and photo library — to scan a document or attach a photo to a transaction. The image you choose is uploaded to that transaction. We do not access other photos on your device.
  • Files — to attach a file you pick to a transaction. Only the file you select is uploaded.
  • Microphone and speech recognition — so you can talk to EVE hands-free. Audio is used to understand your request and is transmitted to our servers and to the AI processing providers that power EVE. Where your device provides speech recognition, audio may also be processed by the device manufacturer under its own privacy policy. Voice input is never used for advertising.
  • Siri — if you use the Siri shortcuts the app registers, the request you speak is passed to REALM exactly as if you had typed it.
  • Calendar — to add the appointments, showings and tasks you choose to your device calendar. The app lists your calendars so you can pick one; it does not read or upload your other calendar entries.
  • Notifications — to deliver alerts about your transactions, messages and tasks. To do this we store a push token that identifies your device to the notification service. You can turn notifications off in your device settings.
  • Face ID / Touch ID — to lock the app. Biometric checks are performed by your device. REALM never receives or stores your biometric data.

The app does not request or use your location.

Stored on your device. The app keeps your sign-in session and a cache of recently viewed data on the device so it opens quickly and works during brief connectivity gaps. Signing out removes the session; deleting the app removes the cache.

Diagnostics. If the app crashes or encounters an error, a report containing the device model, operating system version, app version and the technical details of the error is sent to our error-monitoring provider so we can fix it. These reports are not used for advertising or profiling.

Calls. Calls placed through the app are carried over our calling infrastructure. Where call recording or AI call summaries are enabled by your brokerage, the call announces that it may be recorded before it connects.

Signing in with Apple, Google or Microsoft. If you sign in with one of these providers, we receive the identifier, name and email address the provider shares with us, and we use them only to create or match your REALM account. We never receive your password for that provider. If you use Apple’s “Hide My Email”, we receive the relay address Apple issues and communicate with you through it.

Deleting your account. You can delete your account yourself from Settings in the app or on the web. Deletion deactivates your login immediately, removes the sign-in providers, devices and notification tokens linked to it, and sends you a confirmation. Transaction records held by a brokerage are retained by that brokerage for the period real estate regulations require and are not erased by deleting a personal account. If you are the only owner of a workspace, you will be asked to transfer it before deleting. You can also request deletion by email at [email protected].

Everything else in this policy — what we collect, how we use it, how we share it and your rights — applies to the app in the same way it applies to the web platform.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share information only as necessary to:

  • Provide services (e.g., infrastructure providers)
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Protect the security and integrity of the platform

Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

Your Rights

You may:

  • Access or update your information
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Opt out of communications

Facebook & Instagram Data Deletion

When you connect a Facebook Page or Instagram Business account, REALM stores the access tokens and linked account details needed to publish on your behalf. You can have this data deleted at any time:

  • Remove REALM from your Facebook account's Business Integrations (or disconnect it in Marketing Settings). This automatically deletes the stored Facebook/Instagram tokens and account details for that connection.
  • Or request deletion directly by emailing [email protected] and we will remove your connection data and confirm.

Deletion removes the stored access tokens and linked account information REALM holds for that Facebook/Instagram connection.
