Connecting your MLS

Connecting your MLS is what lets Realm search the market and surface your own listings. Each agent connects their own MLS — it's a personal connection, set up under General settings → MLS.

How to connect

  1. Open Settings and go to the MLS tab.
  2. Find your MLS in the list of connectable boards and click **Connect your MLS**.
  3. You're sent to your MLS's own sign-in (Spark / Flexmls) to authorize Realm.
  4. Approve, and you're returned to the MLS tab showing the connection as active.

Realm never sees or stores your MLS password. You sign in on the MLS's own page and grant Realm access; the connection is a secure token, held encrypted, that you can disconnect at any time.

What connecting gives you

  • Market search — the Listings tab can search the MLS.
  • From your MLS feed — the listings your MLS attributes to you appear automatically, so your own inventory shows up without manual entry.
  • Accurate property facts — connected listing data feeds home reports and listing promos.

Rolling out board by board

Realm is turning on MLS connections one board at a time, starting in Arizona. If your MLS isn't connectable yet, the tab tells you cleanly rather than failing — nothing else in Realm breaks while you wait. As each board's access is approved, it flips on in the list.

Disconnecting

You can disconnect your MLS from the same tab at any time. Doing so stops Realm from pulling your feed; it doesn't touch any REALM, document, or contact you've already created.
