Modules & the Marketplace

Transaction Templates aren't built as one big block of settings. Underneath, they're assembled from Modules — reusable, self-contained pieces you compose together. That's also what makes a whole Transaction Template (or a single Module) something you can share between brokerages.

Modules — reusable building blocks

A Module is a Lego-block bundle that owns one dimension of a transaction and can be reused across many Transaction Templates. There are a few types:

  • Compliance — references to one or more Compliance Packs (the document requirements).
  • Milestone — a set of timeline deadlines.
  • Communication — a set of reminders or a message sequence (for example, a "Buyer Communication Sequence" every buyer Transaction Template reuses).
  • Rule — conditions that add or remove items (well, septic, HOA, solar, cash, referral).
  • Monitoring — what EVE watches for on the Realm.
  • Vault — the archive-and-retention policy.

A Transaction Template is really just a curated list of Modules, each with conditions and an order. Because Modules are versioned and locked when published, editing one never silently changes a Transaction Template still pointing at the older version.

The everyday builder lets you add packs, milestones, communications, and Vault policy directly to a Transaction Template — you don't have to think in "Modules" to get work done. Modules are the structure that makes those pieces reusable and shareable.

The Marketplace — share and import Transaction Templates

Because a published Transaction Template is a complete, self-contained blueprint, it can be exported, imported, shared, and (eventually) sold between brokerages — without exposing the author's documents, clients, or Realms.

Export

In Brokerage Settings → Realm Settings → Transaction Templates, use the Export action on a Transaction Template to download it as a file. That file is the portable blueprint — the structure only, no transaction data.

Import

  1. Click Import.
  2. Paste a Transaction Template export.
  3. Realm creates it as a draft in your brokerage and matches its document packs to your own packs by name. Any that can't be matched are reported so you can attach them yourself.

What stays safe

  • Imported Transaction Templates always land as drafts. A broker must review and publish before they can apply to a Realm.
  • Importing never grants access to the original author's documents or transactions.
  • Any blocking or enforcement still follows your brokerage's governance — an imported Transaction Template can suggest blockers, but it can't raise your enforcement posture.
