Review pre-triage & document scan
Broker review gets faster when you're not opening every PDF cold. Two EVE tools sit on top of the broker review queue to point you at what actually needs a closer look — one that runs on its own, one you trigger on a single document. Both are native-compliance tools: they're part of the review-and-approve flow, so they apply where your Workspace runs its own compliance (native governance).
Pre-triage — clean vs needs attention
Before you open a Realm's documents, EVE has already sorted the ones waiting on your review into two buckets:
- Clean — the document looks complete and correct, and is safe to approve at a glance.
- Needs attention — there's a concrete issue worth a closer look, and EVE names it: still a draft, a superseded version, a required signature missing, or a document you sent back before (a re-review).
Every verdict is grounded in real signals already on the document — its status, its signatures, its review history — so it's dependable and explains itself. You'll see the reason next to each flagged item, plus enough context (when it was uploaded, which version) to decide without opening it.
The payoff is Approve all clean: one action clears everything EVE judged safe, so you spend your attention on the handful that actually need it.
EVE sorts; you decide. The pre-triage never approves or rejects anything on its own — it just organizes the queue. Your approval still flows through the normal review step, and it's recorded as permanent history.
Document scan — a closer read of one document
When you open a specific document to review it, EVE can do a deeper, on-demand read: it looks at the document's text alongside what Realm already knows about the transaction, and flags concrete in-content issues, such as:
- A blank or missing signature, initial, or date line
- A required field left empty
- A date, name, or address that doesn't match the transaction
Each finding cites where it comes from, so you can jump straight to it and judge for yourself.
The scan is advisory and add-only. Its findings never approve a document, never override the pre-triage, and never change anything — they only surface things for you to check. As always, the broker decides.
The deeper content scan is an opt-in tool your brokerage turns on. When it's off, opening a document simply shows nothing extra — no error, no noise. When a document isn't a readable PDF, the scan quietly reports that it couldn't read it rather than failing. You never lose the ability to review the document yourself.
