Tasks

Tasks are your running to-do list across everything you're working on — personal reminders and the work a Realm needs to move forward. They show up in one place so nothing slips, and EVE quietly flags what's urgent.

Two kinds of tasks

  • Personal tasks — your own to-dos. Quick reminders, calls to make, things that aren't tied to a specific Realm.
  • Realm tasks — work attached to a transaction (a Realm). These often come from a Transaction Template or a document pack, and completing them moves the Realm toward its next milestone.

Both live in the same list. Each Realm task shows which Realm it belongs to so you always know the context.

Priorities and filters

Every task carries a priority — High, Medium, or Low. Realm sets this for you based on the due date (overdue and due-today work is raised automatically), and you can set it yourself when you create a task.

Use the filter tabs at the top of the list to focus:

  • All — everything on your plate
  • Mine — only tasks assigned to you
  • Critical — high-priority and time-sensitive work
  • Overdue — past due and needs attention
  • Completed — your recently finished work

Team & Org views (for brokers and team leads)

If you lead a team or run a brokerage, a scope control at the top of the page lets you see beyond your own list:

  • My Tasks — just your own work (what every agent sees).
  • Team — every task owned by or assigned to your team members. Each row shows whose task it is. Team leads and brokers get this view.
  • Org — every task across the whole brokerage. Brokers and admins only.

From Team or Org view you can complete a teammate's task yourself — handy for a transaction coordinator or broker clearing blockers. Brokers also have a Compliance Tasks toggle that surfaces every compliance-tagged task across the org in one place.

Agents see only their own tasks. The Team and Org scopes appear only for leadership roles, and Org is limited to brokers and admins.

Task packs

When you apply a Transaction Template or document pack to a Realm, it can bring a bundle of tasks with it — the standard steps that transaction needs, already sequenced and dated. You don't build them one at a time; the pack seeds the whole set, and they flow into your task list like any other Realm task.

How to complete a task

  1. Open Tasks from the left navigation.
  2. Find the task — use the filter tabs or scroll the grouped list.
  3. Click the checkbox to mark it done. Completed tasks move to the Completed view and the timestamp is recorded.
  4. To reopen one, switch to Completed and uncheck it.

How to add a task

  1. On the Tasks page, click New Task.
  2. Give it a title and (optionally) a description.
  3. Set a due date and time, and pick a reminder if you want one.
  4. To make it a Realm task, choose the Realm it belongs to. Leave that blank for a personal task.
  5. Save. It appears immediately in your list.

EVE watches your tasks ambiently. When a deadline is approaching or a Realm is stalling, it surfaces a prepared nudge or a suggested next step right where you're working — no separate "AI mode" to open. See Working with EVE.
